If you’re a young person dealing with OCD first of all, we just want to say that we get it. This stuff can be hard. OCD can feel overwhelming, confusing, and sometimes even scary but please always remember you're not on your own.
This part of Taming Olivia is made especially for young people like you. You'll find info to help you understand how OCD works, and see that there are ways to feel better — even if it doesn’t feel that way right now! We recommend looking at this site with an adult that you trust. Take your time looking around and please remember that you don’t have to read everything at once, and you can always come back later.
There’s also a main part of the website that’s written more for adults navigating OCD. It goes into a bit more detail and sometimes talks about difficult things. If you're thinking about checking it out, please do it with an adult you trust.
If there’s something you’re confused about, or if you wish there was a post on a certain topic, you (or an adult if you’re much younger) can send me an email at catherine@tamingolivia.com. I’d love to know what would help.
Sending a big dose of strength and hope your way,
Catherine xx
